Antimony nanpoparticles were formed by the flowing gas evaporation method at various evaporation temperatures. The mean particle diameter is smaller than 10 nm and decreases with the increase of evaporation temperature. This phenomenon is discussed based on the absorption growth process. The amount of absorption vapor per unit nucleus decreases with the increase of evaporation temperature. The geometric standard deviation obtained from the size distribution shows a small value compared with the case of evaporation in a closed inert gas.
