In Japanese Geotechnical Society, necessity of educational contents that used multimedia was recognized. The multimedia committee was established in 1996. This report introduces the content discussed and proposed at the multimedia committee. Furthermore, it reports on the current state of the multimedia publication that uses CD-ROM and the tele-lecture via internet. The approach on e-learning examining it now is also represented.
