The Optimized Scheduling has been the main issue among organigations which are dealing with the day to day basis production planning and delivery management, in the petroleum refining sectors. The reasons that such optimization has not been utilized effectively in an actual refining plant is its complicated modeling technich, so called multi time period modeling, and the lack of suitable algolithm which satisfies user's feeling of the "endurance". In this working paper, we present the current effort in the field of the multi-time period optimization in this refining sector by using the SAITECH's SOPT-LP, which uses a Primal-Dual Newton-Barrier (PDNB) algolithm.
