E-commerce is immature in Japan. That is partly due to the unique characteristics of Japanese management and transaction systems. Besides, it's probably attributable to Japanese management consciousness that market leader (sales growth) matters and aggressive IT spending is not imminent. To this point of view, we expect the Japanese government could carry out its directive function to add necessary incentive in place and materially subsidize the business. This is no doubt will create immeasurable benefits to Japanese companies, especially in the recession period. Meanwhile, since the high-tech industry plays an active role to push the growth of B2B business, it'll also benefit the development of IT industry. That is, a win-win situation is foreseeable in regard to the growth of B2B in Japan as well as those correlated industries and business sectors.
