A 1024-channel digital apparatus which measures the time interval distribution of photoelectric pulses is designed to investigate the statistics of radiation fields.The system consists of digital elements and commercially available memory.Coherent light and Gaussian-Lorentzian light are measured by using this apparatus and the experimental results agree well with the theoretical ones.
