We propose here computer-generated holograms (CGHs) suitable for use in optical interconnections and computing. They are constructed by using a new method in which aberrations are low and adjustments are made to equalize their diffracted light beam intensities. Multi-facet holograms of nine sub-holograms are produced by using an electron-beam. Diffracted light beams from the produced holograms are focused nearly down to their diffraction limits. Uniformity in the beam intensities is more than ten times that of non-adjusted holograms.
