An interfacial study of Tl_2Ba_2Ca_2Cu_3O_<10> thin films on silver foil has been carried out. There is a guest phase, composed of a 2.4-nut-thick unit cell up to 10 nm thick in total, formed between the interface of the 2223 phase and the substrate. It is fitted, with our proposed model, to Tl_2CaCu_2O_6. This kind of guest phase in the TBCCO and silver system is found for the first time. This non-superconducting Tl_2CaCu_2O_6 phase did not affect the superconducting property, and T_c=102 K was found for this sample.
