A rejection band in the spectrum of the eigenmodes of a waveguide filled with cold collisionless magnetoactive plasma has been found. This rejection band lies above the upper hybrid frequency. The width of the rejection band has been investigated varying the values of the magnetic field, the plasma concentration and the waveguide radius. It is shown that the rejection band at low plasma concentration can be used for creating a microwave at tenuator controlled by external magnetic field.
