• The solutions of the steady-state diffusion profiles of interstitials and vacancies given by Lam et at. are modified for application to high temperature irradiations, where equilibrium vacancies become significant. The effect of equilibrium vacancies on the diffusion profiles is similar to that of the homogeneously distributed sinks. Consequently, the modified solutions are obtained by altering the sink concentration expression.
