The effects of the electron irradiation on the two kinds of silver bromide micro crystals which were prepared from the photographic process plate and the SSS photographic film were studied. The print-out effect on the specimens from the SSS film were observed directly and by using replica with an electroscope. It was found that whiskers grew from the side face of the grain with intense electron irradiation, while the (111) surface showed no appreciable change. In the crystals from the SSS photographic film, the triangular pattern consisting of three protrusions appeared on the well-developed (111) surface, while the square pattern appeared on the (100) face with electron irradiation or exposure to the sun light. It was also found that the tripyramidal pits appeared on the (111) face with much longer electron irradiation or exposure to he sun light.
