A theoretical analysis is presented for a pivoted slidering in the presence of an external magnetic filed applied parallel to the bear bearing surface and perpendicular to the direction of motion. The analysis takes into account the pad surface curvature, which is usually neglected. The effect of this curvature is shown in a family of curves. Some interesting results are obtained.
