This paper deals with the calculations of three problems for a surface density meter utilizing ^<137>Cs gamma-source: (a) variation of the scattered intensity due to air-gap between the gauge and scatterer; (b) dependence of the thickness at saturated intensity on the density of scatterer; (c) dependence of the scattered intensity from each section of the source-and the detector-side on both the density and the source-to-detector separation. The calculations are based on the scattering and absorption properties of matter with regard to gamma-rays, in a similar method as described in a previous paper. The computations of integrals for partial space are numerically done following the Simpson's one third rule. The previous observations can be explained satisfactorily by the results of calculations.
