The fast neutron time-of-flight system for use with ISSP 16" variable energy cyclotron is described. Proton beam of peak current of about 400 μA is obtained with the duration of less than 2 ns (natural bunching) and reduced repetition frequency of 3 Mc at the neutron producing target. The overall time resolution obtained with the system is 4 ns for 1 MeV neutron.
