Hydromagnetic free convective flow of liquids past a heated vertical flat plate with temperature-dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity has been analysed. It is observed that with the increase of temperature the coefficient of viscosity decreases bringing an increase in the skin friction and the viscous boundary layer. The corresponding effect on thermal diffusivity is to decrease the heat transfer from the plate.
