Visualization and its image processing technique are carried out to apply the flow problems in the console. An airflow inside copier was closely related the various problems, such as a toner cloud phenomenon and thermal interference around a unit with high temparature. But the whole flow field inside the console is difficult to know by a numerical simulation and a common measurement for its complicate geometry. Experimental equipment unit was constructed to obtain the clearer viaualization image of the airflow. And using image-processing technique, characteristics of the flow structure became cleared.
