In this shipyard, an attempt has been made to apply the electronic computer to various works in mould loft such as shell plate development as described in the first report, and many programs have been completed and placed successfully in use in many actual ships.By this method, the conventional, complicated works in mould loft are replaced by this very simple work of making input data to the computer, and the output list from the computer can be directly used as the marking offsets in marking shop without any additional works.Therefore, this method is very effctive in simplifing works and reducing labour in mould loft.In this report, the following three items will be explained.1) Calculation of the offsets for assembling work of shell plate subassemblies.2) Calculation of the offsets for bending work to transverse frames.3) Calculation of sizes of shell plates which are necessary in purchasing hull steel.The input data necessary to the above calculation consist of x-y value of points on body plan. The input data for 1) and 2) are the same as those for shell plate development calculation which are read from 1/10 body plan, and the input data for 3) are read from 1/50 body plan that is drawn in the designing department.
