The author considers a little the general expression of biharmonic function. He, next, deduces the existence of the so-called stress-function from the fundamental equations of the theory of elasticity, from which the components of the displacement and the stress can be derived, and of which the special case is the Airy's stress-function. He deduces the general expression of the solution of the plate bent by pressure P which is specified by ∇_1^^2P=0. He, lastly, investigates "the general expression for the stress components in two-dimensional problem of elasticity" by Dr.SUEHIRO.
