• One of the most important elements for the information management is to enhance the organizational ability to learn. The learning ability should be built in the process where an organization makes strategic plans. The information management of the process has potentiality to raise up the level of learning. Based on the questionnaire surveys undertaken both in Japan and the United Kingdom, the senior managers' learning pattern is identified. Therefore, a theoretical framework and key elements for the information management that promotes organizational learning are specified.
