Some unusual behavior and data of dextran solutions reported by Nakagaki and Sano^<2,3)> were reinvestigated from their data and by measurement of viscosity and sedimentation using the same kind of a dextran sample. Neither difference between proparties of solution dissolved at 25°and those heated at 80°, nor unusual values as dextran solution were observed. Contrary to the conclusion of Nakagaki adn Sano dextran solution would not be affected by heat treatment.
