This paper examines the microstructures of interfaces of SUS304. SUS304L and SUS321 explosive clad steels. 5% Cr-0.5% Mo over-lay clad steel, and SUS304 roll clad steel which have been subjected to heat treatments at various temperatures and have been investigated by microscopy and EPMA. Also the correlations among the width of the decarburized band and caburized band, heat temperatures, and time were examined. It is found that the decarburized and carburized bands can be correlated using the parameter equation of Cristoffel-Curran, P_1=-K/T+logt, or the parameter equation of Larson-Miller type. P_2= T(C+logt). In the case of the aluminium explosive clad steel, exposure to a high temperature for a long time promotes interdiffusion of Al and Fe. The interdiffusion band may be correlated by the Larson-Miller tyep parameter.
