In this paper, five species of the genus Trioza, which feed on or are supposed to feed on trees of Elaeocarpus, are dealt with. Homotrioza maculata was transferred to the genus Trioza, and four new species were described. From the venation of forewing and the characters of female genitalia, these five species were considered to be closely related to each other, and included in the maculata species group. Diagnosis of the maculata group and a key to the five species are given.
