Basing on the writer's comparative study on arrangement of the genital organs of several Oligochaeta-families and recent contributions made by Marcus (1944), Sperber (1948) and others, a revision is proposed here for the Michaelsen's (1928, 1929, 1930) system of the classification. Important points of the revision are as the following: 1) A new suborder Oligochaeta archiopora is proposed to establish for the Aeolosomatidae which was formerly considered as a member of the suborder Oilgochaeta plesiopora. 2) The remaining all members of the latter suborder seems to be transferred into suborder Oligochaeta opisthopora as the section Monotesticulata against for the section Diplotesticulata which includes all other members of the suborder. 3) Then the suborder Oligochaeta plesiopora may be abandoned. Together with the proposition of the revision, some phylogenical discussions are made on the new system of the classification.
