• Much of work on Turbo TCM mainly discussed and presented bandwith efficient turbo code schemes, described its modified decoder and gave the simulation results to show the schemes performance. One of what is still lacking is an explanation and attempt to find its best code to optimize the performance system. This paper addressed to this problem. The paper presents an evaluation of a performance criterion of Turbo TCM system. The system used as a base for evaluation is constructed from two component encoder with rate 2/3, interleaver and deinterleaver, 8 PSK and puncturing. The evaluation is conducted by expanding a method derived for binary Turbo code to Turbo TCM System.
