Narrow strip conductors printed on a thin dielectric substrate ale widely employed in various applications. This paper describes a printed strip antenna which operates at two frequency bands designated for use in and mobile communications. The antenna is analyzed by utilizing the concept of equivalent radius which includes dielectric effects based on the quasi-static approximation theory. The input characteristics of a designed dual-frequency antenna are measured and good agreement with theoretical predictions is found.
