A shaped reflector 6-sector antenna is presented. The antenna is used for base station application in point-to-multipoint(P-MP)fixed wireless access systems. The antenna is composed of 6-feed horns and a shaped torus reflector with omni-directional horn-reflector type arrangement. The feed horns are installed around the symmetry axis of the reflector to illuminate the reflector. The generating line of the torus reflector is shaped to achieve a cosecant square-like radiation pattern in vertical plane to compensate span-loss. The pattern shaping is also effective for line-of-sight communication links with fixed subscribers to eliminate nulls in the radiation pattern.
