In order for researchers to quickly and effectively develop new products or field engineers to fine-tune systems such as production equipment, software-optimized solutions are required. These programs collect experimental data and calculate optimal values, therefore avoiding the time-consuming trial and error situations that may occur during research or tuning. However, within some product development or machine-setting fields, it is not practical for some researchers or field engineers to use conventional optimization software programs due to location and/or computer-size considerations. This text will discuss the current developments involved in using spline algorithms to calculate experimental data and produce optimized results on mobile phone systems.
