In this paper, complex permittivity of some types of liquid crystal were measured using coaxial line by the transmission-line method in the microwave band. First, The author measured the complex permittivity of liquid crystal by the transmission-line method at 10 GHz. A good agreement is obtained between measurement result by the transmission-line method and measurement result by the waveguide-method. Second, complex permittivity of some types of liquid crystal were measured around 2-21 GHz. The change of the complex permittivity is examined quantitatively on the condition that the measuring samples are changed.
