Theoretical investigations are made of the sound radiation from a point source moving in parallel to a plane interface between two different fluids. As asymptotic expression for the reflected wave in the far-field region is obtained from the solution of a boundary value problem in a whole space. A simple physical interpretation for the reflected wave is given.
