The determination of o-, m-, p-dichlorobenzenes and cresol were studied by high-speed liquid chromatography. The column (250 mm × 4 mm I. D.) was packed with Lichrosorb RP-18 and eluted with 50 % aqueous acetonitrile solution. The flow rate was adjusted to 1.0 ml/min and eluent was monitored at 222 nm. Under these conditions, all compounds were througly separated and the calibration curves gave straight lines. The coefficient of variation was below 2% and recovery of each compound from emulsion was higher than 98%.
