概要

• A new version of the typesetting program DVI write which visualizes the device-independent output of TEX text formatter has been developed. The performance of this program is greatly improved over that of the previous version, as we have expected. The improvement is due to the new program structure and the data structure design. The latter also slightly reduced the storage capacity requirement for the font information. In the following, we give the detailed accounts of the measures we have taken in the attempt and the result we obtained.
