• Studying the growth promoting and riboflavin forming effect upon Eremothecium Ashbyii with several natural products, such as rice embryo, dried yeast, rice polishings, barley bran, fish meal, whale liver etc., the growth and riboflavin have been increased by addition of the extracts of these macterials, especially the extracts of embryo and yeast have been effective for fungus growth. As the riboflavin production did not go parallel with growth, I considered that these natural products contain the growth factor but the existence of riboflavin factor is doudtful.
