Effects of pH and catalytic poisons on the satability of tannin in the dilute extract from Acacia confusa Merr. were researched.Content of tannin was almost unchanged at the pH lower than 5 and was reduced at the pH, 5 and higher than 5.The reduction of content of tannin was not controlled by addition of potassium cyanide and sodium sulphide as catalytic poisons.
