X-8電子腕時計の回路解析

The electronic wrist watch""Citizen X-8" with a transisterized balance has been marketed since March 1966. In some electric wateh that selled in the past, the physical contact for the purpose of electric switching was used. In this "X-8", the electronic switch by the transistor in stead of the physical contact was applied. Accordingly, this "X-8" has a higher reliability and maintains a stable precision. In this paper, we describe about the introduction of "X-8" and the analysis of its drive circuit. The analysis is about the balance amplitude of a stable equilibrium and the consumption power. The results of the analysis by a rectangular wave model are fairly in good agreement with experiments.
