An experiment to compare the accuracy of water depth measurement was conducted by use of three types of diver's watch with the function of measuring water depth developed by Japanese watch manufacturers, diving computers, and conventional mechanical depth gauge. The accutacy was compared with the digital depth gauge of a deep diving system, which is highly reliable. As the results, all three types of diver's watch were accurate giving the indications close to that of the digital depth gauge. The diving computers were accurate next to the diver's watches, but it was proved that the error is large in the mechanical depth gauge.
