As a study of Bubble dynamics, the experiment on bubbling from the two orifices on a thin plate was carried out in air-water isothermal system at a room temperature and pressure under constant gas flow rate. The air was supplied to the orifices through a capillary tube to make the air flow rate constant. The orifice diameter and the chamber volume were changed from 0.2mm to 2mm and from 10cc to 300cc, respectively. The distance between the orifices was kept constant as 30mm in order to avoid the interference between the generating bubbles. The fluctuation of water flow induced by the bubble generation was detected at each orifice outlet using hot film anemometer. The bubbling aspects were observed using high-speed video camera. It is found that bubbling becomes unstable as the orifice diameter increases whereas it becomes stable as the chamber volume increases.
