Experimental investigation of characteristics of a temperature sensitive paint (TSP) was carried out. The TSP was made of PMMA or PVB300 as a binder and Eu(TTA)_3 which is a chelate compound of the rare earth element as a phosphor. The excitation light was irradiated to the TSP coated surface of tested foil. The intensity of fluorescence on the surface was estimated by processing the fluorescent image under the constant surface temperature of the tested foil which was measured by using a radiation thermometer. The surface temperature, the concentration of phosphor and the paint film thickness were changed in the range of 15-90℃, 5-50 wt% and 3-12 μm, respectively. As the result, these parametric effects on the temperature dependency of the TSP was found out.
