It is important to analyze driver fatigue during long term driving in automotive seat comfort. We applied the electromyogram to evaluate physiological muscular fatigue after a 90-min simulated driving task. We found the chaotic features in their electromyograms. The proof of chaos was made by using a reconstructed phase portrait, fractal dimension (correlation dimension), and Lyapunov exponent. As a result, we also found that these was a similar tendency between the chaotic features in objective evaluation of muscular fatigue and the data in subjective one.
