• Formerly, to the newly recruited enginnering staffs of graduates, many of manfacturing firms in Jappan didn't expect competent ability ready to handle the assignment from beginning. Most firms granted some period of time to self-develop by on the job training and there were even some firms that prepared supplemental training routines to fit in the jobs. But nowadays, those firms are becoming to want the graduates to have the capability of getting their assignment well done from beginning. This paper describes what is the capability needed to the competent engineers in the manufacturing firms, they shall be feeded back to the policy of education and carriculums of universities or colleges.
