In order to examine the creep ratcheting behavior of 1 CrMoV steel (GS-17CrMoV-5-11) at 550℃ and modified 9Cr-lMo steel (P91) at 600℃, tests under combined tensile and bending load using large scale specimens were carried out. Following these tests, simulations by means of finite element analyses using ABAQUS with a user defined material model representing the viscoplastic constitutive equations proposed by Chaboche and Nouailhas. The kinematic hardening rule proposed by Ohno and Wang was also used in the analysis. Material constants of the viscoplastic material model were determined by uniaxial tensile, creep, fatigue and creep fatigue tests. After checking the applicability of the model to basic uniaxial experiment, the creep ratcheting tests were simulated using FEM. It was shown that the calculated results corresponded well with the experimental one at the early stage of the experiment, when the kinematic hardening rule proposed by Ohno and Wang was used.
