Rheology is a relatively new discipline encompassing the physical and chemical aspects involved in the elucidation of the mechanisms, at a molecular level of structural changes of polymers during their deformation. Dynamic vibration absorbing mechanism by visco-elastic materials (Polymer materials) is described here based upon rheological researchs. The relation between the chemical structures of polymers and dynamic properties (dynamic storage modulus G'(w), and dynamic loss modulus G"(w)) is attempted to make clear. Furthermore, the difference between linearlity and non-linearlity of polymer material and also the difference between phantom network deformation and Affme deformation are elucidated here at a molecular level.
