It is pointed out that design derives from the fundamental desire of human beings to create. Engineering is considered as learning based upon our urge for creation, while science may be said to be learning based upon our curiosity. In this sense, design not only constitutes a very important part of engineering, but it also provides a fundamental methodology for all aspects of our life, because design not only pursues creativity, but also provides a methodology for problem solving for all applications. As the world is quickly diversifying and is calling for people with full of creativity, it is stressed that we should introduce design education not only at the university level, but also at K-12 level, and that this design education should emphasize more strategic solutions that tactical ones.
