The circulating antibody against "Maiko" was examined on 72 cases exposed to "Maiko" in the Konjac producing district and 38 cases from the other place by the same experimental methods described in a previous paper, and the following results were obtained. 1) The circulating antibody against "Maiko" in the serum was much more frequently demonstrated in the habitants with repeated exposure to "Maiko" than those without it. 2) The positive correlation was found between the distance from the Konjac mill and the hemagglutination test wtih "Maiko", but no apparent correlation was noted between the duration of "Maiko" exposure and the hemagglution test. 3) In the habitants with repeated exposure to "Maiko", the circulating antibody against "Maiko" was found in asthmatic as well as non-asthmatic subjects. All of the patients of Konjac asthma before the treatment of the hyposensitization were detected the antibody against "Maiko" by the hemagglution test. 4) In the some cases with exposure to "Maiko", but not in the Konjac producing district was showed positive hemagglutination test with "Maiko", and then, on this test, the production of the circulating antibody against "Maiko" may be possible at the four months after exposure to "Maiko". From these findings the author suggested that the production of the circulating antibody against "Maiko" could be possible in the serum of the almost all asthmatics as well as non-asthmatics exposed to "Maiko", and these findings might be very interresting problem related to the individual difference in fall to asthmatic attack on the Konjac asthma.
