二段噴射による直接噴射式天然ガス機関の燃焼制御に関する研究

概要

A natural gas direct injection test engine equipped with a newly developed natural gas injector was built. The influence of two-stage injection on combustion stability and exhaust emissions was investigated. The following results were obtained: (1) The coefficient of variations in the indicated mean effective pressure decreases by means of two stage injection approach; (2) The combustion stability by two stage injection increases by high swirl in the rich condition and does not strongly change by swirl in the lean condition; and (3) It is possible to reduce NO_x emission level significantly at air excess ratios between 1.3 and 1.7 without any penalty of indicated thermal efficiency by means of retarded second-stage injection timing and spark timing.
