A model is proposed which describes the transfer process of momentum and heat in a two-phase bubble flow in concentric annuli. From this model the velocity profile and the wall shear stress for a given flow can be predicted when its void fraction profile is known. Furthermore, when a uniform heat flux is added to the system, its temperature distribution and heat transfer coefficient can be determined. Comparisons are made between the predictions and the measurements for velocity profile, wall shear stress and heat transfer coefficient, and then satisfactory agreement is obtained.
