Water was fed down into a vertically supported conduit which was composed of an upper annular duct and of an under coaxial circular tube. Dyed water visualization technique was used and coaxial annular jets were observed. The results obtained are as follows. (1) When the Reynolds number exceeds a certain critical value, two stable flow patterns are obtained. (2) When the circular tube slightly warmed a flow pattern whose jet curves to the center line is stable, and if the tube is slightly cooled a flow pattern whose jet attaches to the wall is stable. (3) In some cases, cyclic fluctuation is observed.
