The principle of structural analysis by the ε-method was investigated for a two-dimensional multi-storied and multi-span rectangular rigid frame loaded vertically or horizontally, in cases where the bases of the columns of a rigid frame are all fixed. An example of a digital computing program for the structural analysis of a rigid frame is constructed on the basis of the ε-method, and various quantities are computed by this program. The ε-method, as the authors name, is one of the slope-deflection methods by which Tatsumi has already reported various results relating to end moments, angles of rotation of each joint and each member, and other aspects of the multi-storied and multi-span rectangular rigid frame in general, figuratively, using the calculation table, Finally, the results calculated by the digital computing program are shown in several figures in the present paper.
