小学校の音楽教育の実態に関する調査研究 (II) : 山口県内の小学校教員を対象に

It is believed that the musical development of a child in a broad sence is closely related with heredity and environment in which he grew up ; especially the musical environment at home in childhood plays the most significant role in developing the child's musical ability. The teacher's attitude toward music or art in general has great influence on the musical development of children at elementary school, particularly in the music class. And also his interests in extra concerned with enhancing the Children's attitudes toward music, especially in the affective domain. We conducted a questionnaire survey of 810 elementary school teachers in Yamaguchi prefecture regarding the present state of music education at elementary school in 1989 and made a report about the result of the analysis of the obtained data. We found that two out of five teachers do not fine much interest in teaching music. As long as we emphasize the affective aspect of music education, the present situation is deplorable and cannot be overlooked. This is the second report about the remaining data the we did not data that we did not analyse in our previous study. We further touch upon the teacher's involment in music activities.
