A new perturbative approach to a single-impurity Anderson model is presented. The on-site Coulomb repulsion is assumed to be infinite. With the use of the operatorintroduced by Hubbard, the perturbation expansion is made in terms of hybridiza-lion without the use of a boson field. This leads to a l / 7V, expansion, where ,V,is themultiplicity of the orbital degeneracy of the localized electron. In the lowest order of1 / .N, the result coincides with that obtained by the variational or the boson methods.
