Normal-State Out-of-Plane Resistivity of Bi-2201 Single Crystals in Intense Magnetic Field

The asyrnptotic form of the normal-state c-axis resistivity p.(T, H) was derived frorn tireanalysis of experimental data for Bi-220 l single crystals which have a T. of 24 -25 K in the rangesof temperature 5< T< 120 K and rnagnetic field 0 $ H 'j 17T. The resistivity p.(T, O) withoutmagnetic field is almost proportional to - log T with a sn?all correction terrn and diverges asT -+ O. In contrast, the divergent profile of p.(T, H ) is suppressed in intense magnetic fields ofH >Hg where H? is about 9T.
