Ivlagraetic properties of Lix CLl02 are investigated f'rotaa the botlu sides of' localized electron pictttre and of itiner?tnt electrort picttrre. First, the anisotropy of' g-factor of' Ctr" iora is sttudiedby calculating tlae orbital level splitting of Cu" Jon dtre to tlae electric crystallitae field. Tlaenaagnetic anisotropy etaergy catrsed by tlae tnagnetic dipole-dipole arad araisotropic exchange interactions are also studied. Next, in order to t?a?tke clear an effect of tlte hybridization betweeraCtr-d state arad the sttrrounding oxygeta p-states, the electronic band structtrre is calctrlatedfor noua-tmagnetic arad at'ntif'erronaagnetic states by using the ftrll-potential liraearlized atrgraaet'atedplane XV.1N/0metlaod. Tlae results obt?titaed by tlae band calctrlatiota are disctrssed ir'x connaectiorawitlu the Ctt-d state obtained by tlae localized electrora rnodel.
